Remember Fred Astaire's favorite Dancing partner? He died many years ago, but Ginger Rogers is now 92, and here she is STILL DANCING!
THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES………;
James Cagney and Bob Hope at a Friar's Club Meeting back when actors were real performers. Bob Hope was 52 and James Cagney was 56. For the young folks, here is something you probably have never seen before and, unfortunately, you may never see again.
For us older folks, this is the best of the best, and we had it for many years! This is a side of these two entertainers you hardly ever saw but it shows you their enormous talent. Bob Hope, the best of the comedians, and Jimmy Cagney...mostly cast as the bad guy, gangster in the movies. http://videos2view.net/Hope-Cagney.htm
When we remember dancers of the past, more often than not, we think of Fred Astaire or Gene Kelley. Underappreciated, but just as good, were Donald O’Connor and Gene Nelson.
One of the most unbelievable dancing segments occurred in 1951’s LULLABY of BROADWAY when Nelson danced up a storm with none other than Doris Day.Watch Doris dance up and down the stairs in long dress and heels! Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lxWRlr431Rw
Ricardo Montalban (most remembered for tv show FANTASY ISLAND) And Lana Turner (her most famous was PEYTON PLACE) in a dance with Broadway & Film dancer Rita Moreno: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8q7Z_cJGdnI
