IF YOU ARE STILL TRYING TO FIND LIVE 365, THAT STATION IS NOW DEFUNCT. We have migrated and improved our show. You can find us easily on this link: http://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/magicmusic OR http://www.radionomy.com/en/radio/early50-sandbeyond. Unfortunately, the radio is only available till May 31st. After that, I will looking for another source. Any Ideas?
You can also download an app (RADIONOMY) and play it on any of your devices: phone/tablet/etc.
Unlike our previous show, this time around it is all free. And you can listen all day if you like; the station will not be turned off when you leave it turned on...just like radio stations did when we were growing up. This best describes the new show:
Take a musical journey with us as we travel down that sentimental road to the great songs, singers and orchestras that time often seems to have left behind....we bring back the music that makes us smile and the great sounds we took for granted. We feature a lot of music by our favorite gal, Doris Day.
WE DO CONTINUOUS UPDATING. Lots of new music is added weekly to the eclectic mix. YOUR REQUESTS still honored.
Be sure to also check out another radio station :https://pandora.com . We created Doris Day Radio there, for your enjoyment.
FAQ:(frequently asked questions)
1. WHAT POPULAR STARS FROM THE 50'S ARE PART OF YOUR PROGRAMMING? Eddie Fisher, Perry Como, Doris Day, Patti Page, Teresa Brewer, Frank Sinatra, Jo Stafford, Rosemary Clooney, Georgia Gibbs, Al Martino, Kay Starr, and on and on and on. 2. Do you program Big Band? You bet..from the 40's (Glenn Miller/ Harry James, The Dorseys, Sammy Kaye) and after (Percy Faith, Perez Prado, Hugo Winterhalter, etc) 4. Any Jazz? Yes...we call it LITE JAZZ and feature artists like Kenny G, Buddy Morrow, Benny Goodman, Sarah Vaughan, Peggy Lee, Mel Torme, Dinah Washington and all the greats) 5. Do you program Rock and Roll? Sure do...everyone from Elvis Presley and Chuck Berry through The Rolling Stones, The Beatles and Train. Even some Sting and Bruce "the Boss" Springsteen. Even Doris Day did some rock tunes! 6. RAP OR HIP HOP? (surely you jest. Sorry...we don't consider that music.) 7. Any songs from Broadway Shows? Oh my...of course. 30 percent of the standard songs (or more) were introduced in Broadway shows. So we have them by the ones who made them popular (from the soundtrack/show albums or single hit records). 8. And Country? Would not be an eclectic radio show without it! Both classic (Hank Williams, Dolly Parton) and newer (Kenny Chesney,Tim McGraw). 9. Are boy groups a part of your program selections? Of course...and not only from the past few years (N'Sync, Backstreet, Boyz2men) but straight back to The Mills Brothers, The Four Aces, The Hilltoppers, The Four Lads, and many more. 10. What makes your station unique? We have songs you will not hear anywhere else by artists who have been long forgotten. Remember....Betty Johnson? Jim Lowe? Gale Storm? Patience and Prudence? The Bell Sisters? Johnnie Ray? Don Cherry? These are just a few. Part of our "mission" is to play a lot of music you cannot hear on any other stations currently available. That also includes a now current category known as "operapop". Thus, we rest our eclectic case.
