Doris Day Movie of the Month
1967 The Ballad of Josie
Doris plays a young woman who stirs things up in a western town by raising sheep instead of cattle, and organizing the local women to demonstrate for women's suffrage against ranchers Peter Graves and George Kennedy. A minor hit for Doris.
We have sent a CD to Doris of all the phone calls we received wishing her a Happy Birthday. You can listen to them on our Happy Birthday page. All calls received before April 1st are on the CD and on the page.
Our other gift to Doris was a beautiful leather bound book which was sent to Doris to enjoy on her birthday!
And please remember the greatest gift you can give Doris is a donation to the Doris Day Animal Foundation no matter how big or small!
